On January 2, 2021, Like valve successfully sent DN2600 super large diameter eccentric soft seal butterfly valve to Vietnam. On January 18, it received the feedback from customers on acceptance and signed a long-term procurement framework agreement with customers, which won high praise from customers.
A hydropower station is the largest hydropower project with both single unit and total unit capacity started in Vietnam at present. It has 6 units installed, with a single unit capacity of 400MW and a total installed capacity of 2400mw. It is known as the “Three Gorges” project in Vietnam. The power station is mainly for power generation, taking into account flood control, irrigation, water supply, as well as improving shipping, aquaculture and economic development in Northwest Vietnam. The completion of the power station will greatly solve the power demand of Vietnam.
Due to the impact of the epidemic, the project cycle, which should have taken three months, was not completed until the next year, and the whole promotion took six months. The impact of the epidemic at home and abroad has not hindered the efforts of Like people. Our colleagues in the project team, adhering to the value orientation of giving priority to customers, have gone through more than ten special project communication meetings, constantly confirmed the specific working conditions of the project with customers, and adjusted and designed the valves satisfied by customers.
Because the project is a key project in Vietnam, the valve required by the project is used on the main road of the hydropower station, and the later maintenance and replacement cost is large, so the service life, wear and seal of the valve are required to be high. After communication with technical engineers, PD series double eccentric soft sealing flange butterfly valve was selected for customers.
PD series double eccentric soft sealing flange butterfly valve adopts eccentric structure, which can automatically establish the sealing pressure between the sealing pairs, effectively reduce the friction of the sealing ring, and prolong the service life of the valve. Streamlined double eccentric valve plate can effectively reduce the pressure loss and flow loss. The sealing ring of the valve plate adopts “t” structure, and the sealing pair is linear, which has the advantages of easy operation Small torque, long service life of sealing ring and good sealing performance.
In the sealing structure, the “n” type stainless steel belt is embedded in the valve body, which can prevent long-term corrosion, and can prevent the vibration caused by the unstable water flow speed, and the valve failure caused by the loosening and falling off of fasteners, so as to improve the adaptability to adverse working conditions.
Finally, through the technical personnel’s in-depth understanding of the product and repeated adjustment of the design drawings, Like valve won the favor of customers with sincere attitude and professional knowledge, and won the bid successfully. And the fastest speed to complete production, delivery, for the smooth progress of the project contributed to the micro blog.
