Flomatic introduced its 408S6 ball check valve, which complies with AWWA standard C508 check valve, flanged to the length of the flanged connection.
The new model uses 316 stainless steel body and access port. These valves are designed to meet demanding wastewater and rainwater pumping applications, and use self-cleaning nitrile (Buna-N) covered metal balls to extend service life. These valves are also flow efficient and require little maintenance.
Floats can also be used for exhaust or flood control applications. They are available in sizes of 4-6 inches; other sizes will be launched in 2021.
