Special valve for oil and gas

In order to control oil and gas flow, special oil and gas valves should have the following basic properties: sealing, pressure strength, safety, adjustability, fluid flow and switch flexibility. For high pressure, flammable and explosive oil and gas medium, the sealing property must be solved first, and the special working conditions of special oil and gas valves shall be considered:

�Ù In the wet natural gas containing hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide, special requirements for the material of valve body are put forward;

¢Ú There are brine, residual acid and other corrosion media in wellhead device and gathering system, which requires the selection of valve body materials and the requirements for corrosion protection;

¢Û Dust and solid particles accelerate the scour and wear of valve closing parts. Make the sealing pair fail quickly;

¢Ü In the outdoor of plateau, desert and high cold area, the valve materials are brittle and bending deformation at low temperature;

¢Ý The special valve for oil and gas used in long distance pipeline requires the same service life as the pipeline, and it will not be changed for decades.

All of these indicate that special oil and gas valves are different from ordinary valves, and they should have high reliability and meet the requirements of high strength and no leakage under severe conditions.
