LIKE VALVE F304/F316L Stainless Steel Socket Weld Gate Valve, 600LB-2500LB High Pressure Forged Steel Gate Valve, Specialized for Chemical and Power Plant Applications

Material Details: The valve body is made of A182 F304/F316L forged stainless steel. The gate plate undergoes mirror polishing treatment with the same material as the valve body. The valve stem is made of 2Cr13 stainless steel and is quenched and tempered. The packing adopts a combination of flexible graphite and PTFE.

Stainless Steel Socket Weld Gate Valve

    1. Body (1)
This is the main structure of the valve, made of stainless steel, and is used to bear the internal medium pressure.
It is connected to the pipeline through socket welding (SC) and is the basic load-bearing component of the entire valve.
    2. Valve Cover (2)
Located above the valve body, it is connected to the valve body with bolts, forming a closed internal space.
Its main function is to protect the operation of the valve stem and gate plate and provide sealing.
    3. Gate Plate (3)
The core component in red in the figure, it realizes the opening and closing of the pipeline through up and down movement.
The gate plate is closely adhered to the valve seat and can achieve reliable sealing.
    4. Valve Stem (4)
The green long rod component in the figure, connecting the handwheel and the gate plate.
Its function is to convert the rotational motion of the handwheel into the linear up and down movement of the gate plate.
    5. Valve Seat Seal (5)
The blue component in the figure, installed at the contact position between the valve body and the gate plate.
Its function is to ensure the sealing performance of the gate plate when it is closed, preventing the leakage of the medium.
    6. Valve Stem Sealing Packing (6)
Located at the mating part of the valve cover and the valve stem, usually made of graphite or polytetrafluoroethylene.
Its function is to prevent the medium from leaking outward along the valve stem.
    7. Packing Press Cover (7)
Used to press the valve stem sealing packing tightly, ensuring the reliability of the seal.
The packing press cover can be adjusted by the bolts to compensate for the wear of the packing.
    8. Support (8)
The supporting component connecting the valve cover and the handwheel, providing a stable guide for the valve stem.
    9. Valve Stem Nut (9)
Installed in the support, in mesh with the valve stem.
When the handwheel rotates, this nut drives the valve stem up and down.
    10. Thrust Bearing (10)
Reduces the friction between the valve stem nut and the handwheel, making the operation more effortless.
    11. Pin Shaft (11)
Used to connect the handwheel and the valve stem nut, transmitting torque.
    12. Positioning Bolt (12)
Used to fix the relative position of the support and the valve cover, preventing loosening.
    13. Packing Cover Bolt (13)
Used to fix the packing cover, compressing the sealing packing tightly.
    14. Handwheel Hub (14)
The central connecting component of the handwheel, connected to the valve stem nut.
    15. Handwheel (15)
The yellow component in the figure, is the execution mechanism for manual operation of the valve.
By rotating the handwheel, the action of the valve stem and gate plate is driven.
    16. Handwheel Press Cover (16)
Used to fix the connection between the handwheel and the valve stem nut, preventing loosening.
