A love performance for the billy Evans family of Congress officials

The community’s love as an online fundraiser has generated more than $332,000 in donations to benefit the children of Congressman Billy Evans, who died in the line of duty this year. The money will be deposited into the trust in the names of Evans’ two children, Logan and Abigail.
“Please note that this fundraising event is the only fundraising method authorized and approved by the Evans family. This fundraising event was organized by myself, Billy’s colleague Officer Lindsay Taylor.”
Evans, 41, grew up in North Adams and Clarksburg. On April 2nd, he was killed by a man at a roadblock outside the U.S. Capitol in Washington. A man rammed his vehicle into Evans and another. An army officer.
On April 2, 2021, William Evans (Billy), an 18-year-old senior police officer of the U.S. Capitol, made his final sacrifice while working outside the U.S. Capitol.
While Evans was on duty in the capital, Noah Green drove into Evan and another police officer by the roadblock protecting the capital. Evan died from his injuries. Another police officer was hospitalized but survived the attack. Green was shot and killed by the police after getting out of the car and rushing to the police while welding a knife.
All proceeds from this event will be used to trust the names of Logan and Abigail and will be used for their health, maintenance, comfort, support and education in the coming months and years.
