Superior Pump Technologies (SPT), headquartered in Chip Norton, New South Wales, is the first SPX Flow channel partner in Australia to be certified as a repair center for the Waukesha Cherry-Burrell (WCB) product line.
SPT has been an authorized distributor of WCB products for five years. During this period, its engineers received in-depth training on pump series and used WCB positive displacement pumps to solve difficult process applications.
In order to obtain certification status, SPT’s service technicians completed a training program at SPX Flow’s manufacturing facility in Delavan, Wisconsin. SPT also upgraded the workshop to accommodate the special tools required for WCB pump certification repairs, and increased its true spare parts inventory to exceed the level required for a certified repair workshop audit.
Owners of WCB pumps in Australia can now take advantage of locally certified repairs performed by technicians trained and certified by local factories, use high-precision tools and install only original parts. Repairs in the SPT workshop will restore the pump to the factory-specified gap to ensure continuous optimization of performance. Providing this service in Australia means that customers can benefit from local spare parts inventory and fast repair turnover. All parts and repairs have a 12-month warranty.
SPT is the only company in Australia that can provide WCB pump services certified by SPX Flow. It is strongly recommended that the owners of WCB pumps use a certified repair center to ensure continuous equipment reliability, quality and repair speed.
