Bonomi North America has launched a series of new high-performance butterfly valves that can be used for commercial and industrial heating, ventilation and air conditioning, hydrocarbon and chemical processing, power generation, and other higher temperature and pressure applications. The new valve is constructed with ISO 5211 mounting pad and square valve stem, which can be easily installed and automated directly by electric or pneumatic actuators.
Bonomi 8000 series (carbon steel body) and 9000 series (stainless steel body) have sizes from 2 inches to 12 inches, including lug and disc styles, ANSI Class 150 and 300. Available in larger sizes, from 14 inches to 24 inches. Upon request.
The 8000/9000 series are designed to meet or exceed the following standards: API 598 test, API 609, ANSI 16.5, MSS SP-25 mark, MSS SP-61 test and MSS SP-68 design. They can be used to throttle or isolate hot water, condenser water, chilled water, steam, glycol, compressed air, chemicals, hydrocarbons and other media.
Standard features of the new valve include a blowout prevention rod made of 17-4 PH stainless steel to provide extremely high hardness and disc support; and a replaceable valve seat made of carbon graphite and glass-filled PTFE, which can be used for replacement High temperature and pressure. Bonomi’s compact design allows easy maintenance of multiple V-ring stem packings.
