The Equalizer series of patented flange expansion tools are designed to help and simplify the maintenance of flange joints. The spreader uses mechanical and hydraulic drive to separate the flanges, and can open small, medium or large flange joints.
Equalizer International has officially become part of the Enerpac family. This new member of Enerpac’s bolted connection product line includes a wider range of high-quality flange maintenance tools. Enerpac’s new Equalizer branded tool series provides a safe, cost-effective way to maintain flange joints.
The range of innovative products includes flange spreaders, flange alignment and drawing tools, nut separators and a series of hand pumps. The Equalizer brand also offers valve replacement tool kits designed to help remove wafer and butterfly valves, shovels and gaskets or gaskets from large flange joints.
The equalizer spreader uses mechanical and hydraulic drives to separate small, medium or large flange joints with a minimum entry clearance of 2 mm.
Equalizer Senior Sales Manager Eduardo Castaneda said: “Flange pullers are simple, lightweight hydraulic tools used to pull flanges together before bolts are applied.” Diameter flanges can also be used for larger flanges. The balancer flange alignment tool is used to align or realign flange joints during pipeline construction, commissioning or routine maintenance.”
