IMC Swarnaa acquires 100% stake in Trillium Flow Technologies – The New Indian Express

IMC Swarnaa Ventures Pvt Ltd Chairman Bimal Mehta and Co-Chairman VSV Prasad announce the acquisition of shares in Trillium Flow Technologies India Pvt Ltd
HUBBALLI: IMC Swarnaa Ventures Private Limited, a joint venture between Hubballi-based IMC and the Swarnaa Group of Companies, announced the successful acquisition of a 100% stake in Trillium Flow Technologies India Private Limited.The company is a leader in the manufacture of ball valves, butterfly valves, diaphragm valves, safety relief valves and plug valves under the famous “BDK Valves” brand.
Trillium Flow technology serves well-known clients such as Reliance, Adani, ONGC, HMEL, NTPC, JSW, L&T, GE, Doosan, Siemens, Ion Exchange, and international clients such as ABB Alstom, Hitachi and Honeywell.With this acquisition, the company hopes to continue serving various industrial sectors including oil, power, metals and mining.
In 2010, the Indian company BDK Engineering Industries Ltd was acquired by Wier Engineering services and subsequently renamed Trillium Flow Technologies India Private Limited.Bimal Mehta, Chairman, IMC Swarnaa Ventures, said: “The acquisition of Trillium is a unique transaction that brings a pioneering leader in valve manufacturing back into Indian hands.
