Electric gate valve consists of electric regulating valve and gate valve supporting facilities. It is used to operate the opening and closing of gate valve. Electric gate valve consists of electric regulating valve and gate valve supporting facilities. It is used to operate the opening and closing of gate valve. The electric regulating valve is composed of motor, reducer, torque limiting mechanism, stroke arrangement control mechanism, manual type electric transformation mechanism, opening degree marking mechanism and electrical equipment control panel. If the adjustment of the electric device of the electric gate valve is unreasonable, the service life of the gate valve should be reduced. Serious accidents such as gate valve pig iron casing breaking control motor burning and flooding pump room. Therefore, in order to ensure safe and uninterrupted power supply, it is necessary to adjust the electric device of the electric gate valve well to ensure the successful opening and closing of the electric gate valve. The following details the two adjustment modes of electric gate valve:
1. Adjustment of torque limiting mechanism
Electric gate valves are applied in different places because of the difference in pressure at both ends of the gate valve or the difference in air pressure (gate valve closed), the torque limiting mechanism should be adjusted appropriately. In the use of electric gate valve on both sides of the azimuthal pressure or air pressure low area, torque limiting mechanism should be adjusted to relatively low torque, HZ series products (as shown in Figure 1), Z series products (as shown in Figure 2) or ZB series products (as shown in Figure 3) electric regulating valve, only need to adjust the torque limiting mechanism adjustment plate and the distance between the moving plate to achieve (detailed adjustment). The ruler plate is marked with a ruler, and the more the scale value, the greater the torque value. Electric regulating valve gate valve closed when the pressure difference between the two ends or air pressure more, the adjusted torque value needs to be more, on the contrary, small. The above several series of product adjustment method is the same. When adjusting ZD series electric regulating valve (as shown in Figure 4), remove the side cover of the shell, adjust the torque limiting mechanism, loosen the fixing screw in the adjusting screw, loosen the adjusting screw, release the pressure button torque spring, and put into the loose part, and tighten the fixing screw in the adjusting screw, fix the adjusting screw. Note that the top of the fixing screw must fall into the shaft groove body. If the top does not point to the shaft groove exactly, only a small amount of rotation of the adjusting screw in the direction of the torsion spring is needed to make it point to the shaft groove fixing screw. Put on the side cover and adjust the gate valve. If the torque limit mechanism fitness exercise, the torsion spring is too loose and tight to the position. This can make the torque limiting mechanism work under relatively low torque, to ensure that the electric gate valve due to travel arrangement control mechanism failure, or other reasons for excessive torque, torque limiting mechanism reliable posture, and disconnect the motor switching power supply, protect the valve will not be destroyed. The electric gate valve used in some places also does not need to be adjusted to close too tight, adjusted to the manual type of close and then loose back two rings (or a ring) is appropriate, (or no water or gas is appropriate).
When the electric gate valve is installed in the place where the water yield pressure difference (or air pressure) is much, the torque limiting mechanism should be adjusted to the appropriate opening and canceling torque. For example, the water outlet gate valve installed in the pump room, after the centrifugal pump starts, the water outlet pressure is relatively large when the gate valve is not opened. At this time, the more water outlet gate valve specifications, the more torque used to open the gate valve. Especially when there is no pressure in the pipeline, the unilateral pressure that the gate valve can bear is very large. At this time, the screw torsion spring is adjusted to the normal opening and closing of the gate valve, and the torque limiting mechanism is not in the position. The electric gate valve used in the pump room must be adjusted to the open fully closed position, otherwise it is easy to damage the gate valve surface resulting in water seepage. Because the electric gate valve installed at this point is close to the centrifugal water pump outlet, the water flow rate is high and unstable. At this time, if the gate valve is not fully opened, some of the gate valves swing from side to side due to the impact of water flow, so that the gate valve face is damaged, resulting in concave groove water seepage harm the service life of the gate valve. In addition to try to avoid using electric gate valve to adjust the valve, otherwise it is easy to destroy the gate valve surface. In addition, in recent years, frequency conversion speed regulation technology is rapidly developing, pump flow adjustment must use frequency conversion speed regulation technology, so as to save energy and reduce emissions to improve the work efficiency of centrifugal pump.
2 Electric gate valve “open, close” position adjustment
Adjust the opening and closing of electric gate valves. According to the adjustment regulations of each manufacturer, the gate valve should be manually closed to the “fully closed” part or the “open” part. If this requires the small caliber gate valve manpower to close and open the time is much, or very laborious. A new adjustment method is introduced here in detail: if the stem spacing of the gate valve is known, it will be convenient to adjust the electric gate valve when adjusting it. Nowadays, the stem spacing of the gate valve with the caliber of DN400-DN600 produced in China is generally 8mm, and the stem spacing of the gate valve with the caliber above DN600 is generally 10mm. If possible, ask the gate valve manufacturer for stem spacing. When adjusting the electric regulating valve, if you know the position of the gate valve in advance, if you know that the gate valve is in the whole closed position, you should adjust the “fully closed” part first. First, manually rotate the gate valve to the starting position, such as two or one rotation of the stem. Then feed in the switch power and press the “On” button. Check the conversion. If the deviation of the valve stem is consistent with the conversion of the valve stem when the valve is opened manually according to the opening button, it indicates that the neutral line of the motor is in the same direction as the electrical equipment controller of the valve. At this time, the travel control mechanism of the gate valve should be adjusted to the fully closed part. At this time, when opening the gate valve, count the number of turns of the stem rotation of the gate valve to know whether to the “open” position. If it is an electric gate valve of DN500, the stem tooth spacing is 8mm, the valve stem rotates once to open 8mm, and the fully opened gate valve plate needs to perform upward fitness exercise 500mm, so the fully opened valve stem needs to rotate 500/8=62.5 turns. At this time, press the open valve key and count 63 turns of gate valve to the “open” position, adjust the electric regulating valve travel control board, so that the toggle switch position in the “open” area can be. From then on, the electric gate valve can be turned off, opened and checked again, and the adjustment is completed. If the electric gate valve is in the opening position before adjustment, it must be adjusted to start the position, the process according to the above.
3 Frequently asked questions after adjustment
One year after the electric gate valve is used, check whether the fixing screws in the adjusting screws of the torque limiting mechanism have fallen off or fallen off. In particular, ZD series of electric regulating valves (as shown in Figure 4), some electric gate valves appear in the process of use, the bottom end of the gate valve is bent by the valve plate or the upper end of the fixed electric device connecting rib plate is cracked. Why do you have a torque limiting mechanism, too much torque when not posture, do not turn off the power supply, the reason is that the fixing screw of the regulating screw in the torque limiting mechanism is loose to loose down the regulating screw for a long time to tighten the torsion spring, until grinding the torsion spring, so that the torque limiting mechanism loss of effect, not buffer effect, leading to the electric gate valve damage safety accident. Therefore, every year to check whether the fixed screws fall down, if the fixed screws loose off must be tightened, and find out the reason for falling off the structure reinforcement.
