Post Instagram trending pictures: How to carry out a viral IG challenge

You may have seen this trend recently taking over your friend’s IG story-maybe you also want to know how to “post a picture…” on Instagram. The good news is that the latest challenge on “K” is very simple: Followers ask you to share photos of specific content (whether it’s a funny flick, embarrassing action, or a sweet photo of a furry friend), and then you answer their request in Take a picture on your Instagram story. But it takes some steps to receive their request and share your response. If you’ve been trying to figure out exactly how to participate in the “posting pictures…Instagram” trend, here is all you need to know.
If you have used Instagram’s story feature before, you should be very familiar with the first step. All you need to do is launch the Instagram app and tap the “Your Story” icon in the upper left corner (as an alternative, you can also simply swipe left in the app to take you to your story camera). If you are having trouble here, you need to make sure that Instagram can access the camera and microphone through your phone settings in order to use Instagram Stories.
Next, you need to take a photo or select a photo from the camera roll (this can be done by clicking the photo thumbnail in the lower left corner), or create a solid color background in creation mode. To access the creation mode, simply select the “Aa” option at the top of the drop-down menu on the left side of the “Story” screen. Then, you can customize the background you like using the color change button at the bottom right corner of the screen.
In order to receive a “post picture…” request, you now need to customize the “Question” label. To get there, just tap the square smiley icon at the top of the “Story” screen (or, if you are in “Create mode,” just cycle through the options at the bottom of the screen) and select the “Question” option.
The “Questions” tab is set to automatically display “Ask me a question”, but you can edit the text field here to display “Post a picture for…” so that your followers know to submit their photo request.
In the lower right corner of the screen, select the “Send to” option to share the tag “Posted…” to Instagram Stories. Now, just wait a few hours for your followers to submit their responses!
After waiting for a response from your followers, you will need to answer all their requests in order to start answering them. In order to see their answers, please review the story in which you shared the “Post a picture for…” question tag and click on the “Viewer” field in the lower left corner of the story. Then, you can find all the responses here by clicking “View All”.
crucial moment! You have to give their followers what they want by sharing their requirements. In order to do this, you must reply to their answers publicly or privately (but remember, this is for everyone to see). Therefore, when viewing their responses, be sure to click on a response and select the “Share Response” option, which will bring their request to your Instagram Story.
After the response appears on your story, you can set the photo in the camera roll as the background of the follower’s response. This is the name of the entire “post…picture” trend, because after all, it’s time to meet the photo requirements. To set a photo, just tap the camera roll thumbnail at the bottom left corner of the “Story” screen.
If you want to really use it, you can also make some adjustments to the photo. Some users like to add a transparent layer to their images to make the photo request easier to read (or, you know there will be some blurry movements in the gesture, especially in some awkward situations!) For this, choose a pen Tool, and then switch to the second pen tool option. Make a color selection and place your finger in the background. result? You basically made your own filter!
Finally, all that is left to do is to send the photo response to your Instagram story for everyone to view. Select the “Send to” option at the bottom right corner of the screen again to share your own “Post a picture of…” reply.
