The sealing performance of Chinese butterfly valves is relatively poor. Chinese butterfly valves have limited pressure bearing capacity. Under the working conditions of high pressure and large flow, the valve plate and seat of China butterfly valve are susceptible to greater pressure, resulting in the deformation or even rupture of the valve. Therefore, for occasions that require greater pressure, Chinese butterfly valves may not be able to meet the requirements, and other types of valves need to be selected.
The maintenance and replacement of Chinese butterfly valves are more difficult. Because the structure of Chinese butterfly valve is more complex, maintenance and replacement need to remove the various parts of the valve, which undoubtedly increases the difficulty and time cost of maintenance. In addition, the sealing ring of the Chinese butterfly valve generally needs to be replaced regularly, which also brings certain troubles to the user.
In general, Chinese butterfly valves have certain limitations in terms of tightness and pressure, which to a certain extent limits their application in special working conditions. However, through reasonable design and material selection, the performance of Chinese butterfly valves can be improved to a certain extent, so that it can better meet the actual engineering needs.
