Publisher Rocket Panda Games and developer Mages, Inc announced the global release of Phantom Breaker: Omnia. This game is an update of the 2013 game Phantom Breaker: Extra.
Phantom Breaker: Omnia tells the story of manipulated and vulnerable teenagers forced to fight each other under the influence of “Phantom”. The fighters were all awarded mysterious weapons called “Fu-mentional Artifacts”. The winners will realize their wishes.
The battle between Xuanwu has caused a huge distortion of time and space. The boundaries of parallel universes are beginning to be broken. This is exactly what the mysterious Phantom wants, because the broken seal will allow this person to release his true power.
Players will get the full story experience of the 2011 original games Phantom Breaker and Phantom Breaker: Extra.
The updated game will contain more content from the original game in 2013. They include two guest roles, Kurisu Makise from Steins; Chaos from Chaos; Gate and Rimi Sakihata from Head; and two brand new characters that will make their debut in the new title.
In total, the game will have 20 characters to choose from. Players can choose from three different fighting styles: fast, difficult and Omnia. These modes will completely change the character’s speed, power and overall mechanics. Players will have a variety of characters to choose from, each with unique skills and ultimate abilities.
Phantom Breaker: Omnia’s combat system has been overhauled. Combinations and special attacks will be easier to achieve than ever before.
For the first time, all characters will have optional English dubbing. The game will also provide English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, simplified and traditional Chinese subtitles and user interface options. Due to the increase in all languages, more players around the world will have the opportunity to enjoy the game.
In addition, all background music has been redone and mixed. Players can choose to play the original background music.
Limited Run Games plans to launch a physical version for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch platforms. More information about the special console version will be announced in the future.
