Apple has not turned its attention to increasing the number of M1X cores. It is said that it also doubles the amount of memory supported. Therefore, it is reported that M1X not only supports only 16GB of storage, but also supports 32GB of LPDDR4x-4266 memory. Graphics performance should also get a considerable improvement, from a maximum of 8 cores on the M1 to 16 cores on the M1X. In addition, M1X supports up to 3 displays, while M1 supports up to 2. According to the CPU Monkey page, the M1X will be included in the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models to be launched later this year, as well as the redesigned 27-inch iMac.
