AME roundup opens today as the largest virtual gathering in the global mineral exploration industry

January 18, 2021, Vancouver, British Columbia (Global News)-The 38th Annual Mineral Exploration Review hosted by the Mineral Exploration Association (“AME”) was launched today in the form of RemoteRoundup. This virtual experience safely facilitates the largest online gathering in the history of the global exploration industry. Hosted by prospectors for prospectors, Roundup is always one of the world’s premier technical mineral exploration conferences. This year, led by the changes brought about by the global influenza pandemic, “Remote Review” provides opportunities for geologists, technologists, prospectors, suppliers, governments and indigenous partners to connect digitally, share knowledge and stand together At the forefront of innovation in mineral exploration.
The mineral exploration industry will play a key role in a strong economic recovery and maintain a vibrant regional and global economy for generations to come. This will be the focus of keynote speaker meetings and panel discussions for remote review conferences.
The remote summary will be held from 8:30 (Pacific Time) to PT 10:00 (Pacific Time) this morning. The opening ceremony was opened by Squamish Nation’s hereditary chief Ian Campbell; Honorable Minister of Natural Resources Seamus O’Regan; President of Teck Resources Don Lindsay, Chief Executive Officer; Robert King of Copper Friedland, Founder and Executive Vice Chairman of Ivanhoe Mines, pays tribute to John Horgan, British Columbia Your Excellency the Prime Minister.
At the Government Industry Forum held today at 12:00 pm Pacific Time – 1:30 pm Pacific Time, British Columbia Minister of Energy, Mining and Low-Carbon Innovation Bruce Ralston and Federal Secretary of Congress Paul Lefevre You will give a speech.
