Comparative analysis of manual butterfly valve and other valve types
Manual butterfly valve is a common type of industrial pipeline valve, widely used in a variety of liquid, gas, solid fluid media control and regulation. Compared to other types of valves, manual butterfly valves have the following characteristics:
1. Simple structure: manual butterfly valve structure is relatively simple, composed of butterfly plate, rod, sealing ring and other components, installation and maintenance are relatively easy.
2. Small and lightweight: manual butterfly valves occupy small space, light weight, more suitable for use in compact and frequently used equipment or occasions.

2. It is impossible to achieve finer and more accurate control: manual butterfly valves have a relatively wide range of adjustment and control accuracy compared with other types of valves, but they are somewhat lacking in the control of highly demanding fluid media.
3. Not suitable for high temperature and high pressure media: due to the structural characteristics of the manual butterfly valve and the limitations of the execution material, its range of use is not suitable for handling media under ultra-high temperature or ultra-high pressure conditions.
In addition to manual butterfly valves, there are other common valve types on the market:
1. Globe valve: It has good cutting performance and can achieve fluid truncation under high pressure difference, but it is relatively heavy and clumsy and not easy to install and maintain.
2. Regulating valve and butterfly regulating valve: it can achieve more accurate fluid medium control, but the operation flexibility and diameter are smaller.
3. Manual ball valve: can quickly open and close the fluid medium, but it is generally suitable for low temperature and low pressure pipelines.
