double flange cast steel butterfly valve

Over the years, Festo has been continuously expanding its product range to provide industry-specific process valves for controlling fluids.
For many years, Festo has been continuously expanding its product range with industry-specific process valves for the control of fluids, bulk materials and gases. By combining these valves with actuators and position indicators and our standard pneumatics and automation, we provide customers with a very interesting concept from a single source. Users from the food processing, water treatment, chemical, mining and pharmaceutical industries can improve process reliability and save time with ready-to-use pre-assembled process valves.
Ball valves, butterfly valves and knife gate valves are very common in the process industry. There are obvious benefits to purchasing them and pre-assembled with pneumatic actuators, including:
Festo 2-way and 3-way ball valves are very rugged and when combined with Festo DFPB quarter-turn actuators, they provide reliable solutions for demanding applications in various industries. The innovative housing design allows two valves to be activated at the same time, simplifying control and reducing costs for certain applications. DFPB also has industry standard NAMUR interfaces for direct installation of solenoid control valves and sensor boxes, and Festo CMSX positioners with 4-20mA feedback for flow control applications.
Festo butterfly valves can be pre-installed with DAPS actuators, providing reliable shut-off solutions for the process industry. DAPS right-angle rotary actuators are compact and have high torque characteristics that are perfectly matched to Festo butterfly valves. Torque is generated by the Scotch yoke mechanism, allowing backlash-free operation and precise valve control. DAPS also has an industry standard NAMUR interface for direct installation of solenoid control valves and sensor boxes to achieve controlled feedback.
Festo knife gate valves meet high quality standards and provide reliable, non-clogging solutions for shut-off applications. When combined with DLP series linear actuators, they provide precise control and low-cost operation compared to electric actuators. One of the main advantages of Festo’s unique actuator profile is the sensor slot, which allows the sensor to be perfectly mounted to the actuator quickly and easily to sense the position of the gate valve. DLP also has an industry standard NAMUR interface for installing solenoid control valves directly on actuators. Festo knife gate valves can also be equipped with DFPI linear positioners, which include actuators, linear sensors and integrated position controllers in a single housing. This provides a very compact solution that is not affected by moisture, dust and corrosive environments.
In addition to the full range of process valves already provided, Festo has further expanded its capabilities to provide polymer valve series and sanitary valves to suit specific applications. To learn more about the process valve components we are going to install, please contact Festo.
