ductile iron rubber seal butterfly valve

Henry Pratt is a leading manufacturer of valves and accessories, with more than 60 years of service experience in the power industry.
Pratt entered the power industry through maintenance work at the Federal Edison Building in Chicago. This place was one of Edison’s main electricity production sites at the time. A valve is needed in a water pipe that currently has no valve and has a small headroom. Henry Pratt was asked to design a compact valve to solve this problem. The design produced is an elastic seat butterfly valve, which will one day become the company’s main product.
Until the mid-1940s, Pratt continued to produce elastic sealing butterfly valves according to specific conditions, but after World War II, Pratt decided to develop the valve as a product line for power and water plant applications. Today, Henry Pratt is a leader in the power and water markets.
The 1100 series nuclear water valve is an ASME level 2 and 3 nuclear safety related water supply butterfly valve, ranging in size from 6 inches to 36 inches (and larger as needed). The design grade is suitable for ANSI 150# standard pressure grade. For valves larger than 24 inches, 75 psig service grade, ASME Sec allows. III code category 1678, available.
The design features of the 1100 series include the flange body, which is made of materials compliant with SA-216, Gr. WCB or SA-516, Gr. 70; A valve disc, which can be manufactured or cast structure or carbon steel. The carbon steel disc has a stainless steel valve seat edge, covering the entire width of the valve seat surface; and a rubber valve seat, which is permanently bonded or mechanically fixed in the valve body without Use threaded fasteners. The valve shaft can be a one-piece structure that extends through the valve disc, or it can consist of a two-piece shaft inserted into the valve disc hub.
The 1200 series nuclear air valve is an ASME Class 2 and Class 3 nuclear safety related air service butterfly valve, ranging in size from 6 inches to 48 inches. The design level is the same as the 1100 series.
The design features of the 1200 series are similar to those of the 1100 series, including a flange body, a prefabricated or cast steel structure valve disc with a mechanically fixed and adjustable rubber seat, and a one-piece structure or a two-piece shaft.
The 1400 series nuclear water valve is an ASME level 2 and 3 nuclear safety related water supply butterfly valve, ranging in size from 3 inches to 24 inches. The design grade is suitable for the standard pressure grade ANSI 150# grade.
The design features and structural materials of the 1400 series imitate the 1100 series because their uses are the same.
Triton XR-70 rubber-sealed butterfly valve meets AWWA C504 requirements, ranging in size from 24 inches to 144 inches. Standard valve body styles are flange x flange end, mechanical joint (MJ) end (24 inches-48 inches), and flange and MJ end (24 inches, 30 inches, and 36 inches).
Triton features include Pratt E-Lok seat design and circulation tray design. E-Lok valve seat design is adopted, and the rubber valve seat is installed in the valve body to provide air-tight closure. The circulation tray design achieves higher strength with a lighter weight than any other tray design currently on the market. Company link www.henrypratt.com
