Festo launches online KVZA butterfly valve configurator

The new KVZA butterfly valve configurator organizes the selection of the best components into a few quick and easy steps.
The new Festo KVZA butterfly valve configurator reduces costs by speeding up and simplifying the procurement of manual and automatic butterfly valves. Using the configurator in just a few minutes, the engineer can obtain the price, estimated delivery date, data sheet, bill of materials, 2D CAD data, 3D CAD model, and a certificate for the best butterfly valve for the application. The unit arrives fully assembled and tested.
This new tool is the latest product in the Festo series of engineering productivity enhancers and supports the entire valve procurement process from search to order. All the following are combined in one tool: configuration, size adjustment, documentation, inquiry, ordering and delivery. In addition to the functions listed above, the KVZA tool also has a direct link to the Festo online store, a user-friendly interface, solution suggestions and a list of materials compatible with the configuration.
Butterfly valves are available in wafer and lug styles, as well as DIN and ANSI compatible formats. The nominal diameter ranges from 1 to 12 inches (DN 25 to DN 300). Closure materials include ductile iron with polyamide (PA) coating, stainless steel with PFA (perfluoroalkoxy alkane) coating, and stainless steel. The sealing element materials include EPDM, NBR and PTFE with silicone.
The quarter-turn actuator can be double-acting or single-acting; low temperature, standard or high temperature; and G or NPT thread for air connection. In the case of flushing applications, an epoxy coating can also be selected to provide higher corrosion resistance.
This wide range of KVZA options allows users to specify a series of butterfly valves to meet all their needs, simplifying procurement and maintenance. Use the KVZA configurator for a test drive.
