The most common mistake here is changing lanes at the last minute.I can see if you’re from out of town and make a mistake, but it happens a lot here and you can’t hook it up with an out-of-town driver every time.
You either need to be on the left to get into Brookfield, New Milford or further, or on the right to get to exit 8 in Danbury, then east into Newtown or Southbury, but you don’t What needs to be done is to make this decision at the last second.
I think people think changing lanes here at the last minute is CT law because I see people doing it all the time.Not only do they make changes in the split second of the last hour, they do it on two wheels, but they often almost take out another car on the way.
This place, like everywhere on I-84, has traffic jams, but if not, there are plenty of fair warnings to let you know where you need to go.Let’s pick a lane at least half a mile before the exit, we might save a life along the way.
