Winel BV is proud to announce the launch of a new member of its product line, the’CMO’ type aluminum overflow box exhaust check valve, suitable for direct outboard discharge.
Winel’s latest development is made of ALMG4.5 aluminum alloy that is resistant to seawater. This latest valve size ranges from DN40 to DN400, with high flow and a lightweight but extremely robust slender design.
The new CMO complements the “standard” CM aluminum can exhaust check valve introduced by Winel in the fall of 2016. Standard CM is discharged on deck. If it is not possible to discharge on deck, a new CMO tank exhaust check valve can be simply installed in the piping system, which can be discharged directly overboard.
Winel has produced tank-type exhaust check valves for more than 50 years and has obtained type approval from all major classification societies, involving the entire tank-type exhaust check valve. The new CMO has been tested and certified in accordance with the relevant requirements of the EU-approved type approval common accreditation procedure.
As we all know, tank exhaust check valves or exhaust heads are used on all ships to ventilate the ballast tanks and empty tanks, while also preventing any contamination of the contents of the tanks by the water in the rough sea. It is required to protect all storage tanks on board from sea water infiltration in accordance with the 1966 International Load Line Convention.
Winel tank exhaust check valve can be used on any type of commercial ships or yachts, naval vessels and offshore platforms. By using Winel tank exhaust check valve, you can take advantage of a robust, maintenance-free fully automatic operating system.
The LK valve and control department is equipped with RM type galvanized steel and Bolero tank exhaust check valves, as well as the new CM and CMO series of seawater resistant ALMG4.5 aluminum alloy tank exhaust check valves. Standard PN10 flange connections are available. And JIS 5K and ANSI.
