Working principle of centrifugal pump:
Before the pump starts, the pump and the inlet pipe are filled with water. After the pump runs, under the action of centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the impeller, the water in the impeller runner is thrown around and pressed into the volute. The impeller inlet forms a vacuum, and the water in the pool is sucked along the suction pipe under the external atmospheric pressure to supplement the space. Then the water inhaled by the impeller is thrown out through the volute and into the outlet pipe.
If the centrifugal pump impeller continues to rotate, it can be continuous water absorption, pressure water, water can continue to flow from low to high or far away. To sum up, the centrifugal pump is due to the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the impeller, the water to the higher, so called the centrifugal pump.
Precautions for use of centrifugal pump
1, the centrifugal pump in a certain speed of the head has a limited value, operation point flow and shaft power depends on the condition of the device system connected with the pump (position difference, pressure difference and pipeline loss). Head varies with flow.
2, stable operation, continuous transmission, flow and pressure without pulsation.
3. Generally, there is no self-priming ability. It is necessary to fill the pump with liquid or vacuum the pipeline before starting the operation.
4, the centrifugal pump in the discharge line valve closed state of the start, vortex pump and axial flow pump in the valve fully open state to reduce the starting power.
Characteristics of centrifugal pump
1, water flow direction along the centrifugal pump is axial suction along the impeller, perpendicular to the axial outflow, that is, in and out of the water direction into 90° each other.
2, because the centrifugal pump impeller inlet constitutes a vacuum water absorption, so before starting must be poured into the pump and suction pipe water diversion, or vacuum pump pumping, in order to discharge the air vacuum, and the pump shell and suction pipe must be strictly sealed, shall not leak, otherwise not vacuum, also can not suck water.
3, because the impeller inlet can not constitute a perfect vacuum, so the centrifugal pump suction height can not exceed 10 meters, plus water flow through the suction pipeline along the loss, the actual height of the device (pump axis from the height of the suction surface) is far less than 10 meters. If the device is too high, it does not absorb water;
4, because the mountain area is lower than the plain atmospheric pressure, so the same pump in the mountain area, especially in the high mountain area device, the device height should be lowered, otherwise it can not suck the water.
