CHIHULY, a major new exhibition at The New York Botanical Garden, presented by Bank of America, spotlights world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly’s bold innovation in a variety of media throughout his celebrated career. Chihuly’s first major garden exhibition in New York in more than ten years features more than 20 installations and includes drawings and early works that reveal the evolution and development of his artistic process. Set within NYBG’s landmark landscape and buildings, this exhibition is a must-see throughout the changing seasons. The Garden’s dramatic vistas become living canvases for work created specifically for NYBG, showcasing Chihuly’s signature organic shapes in brilliant colors. Among the singular sights is a monumental reimagination of his storied 1975 installation at upstate New York’s Artpark: three new works—Koda studies—enliven the water features of the Native Plant Garden and the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory Courtyard’s Tropical Pool, reflecting the interplay and movement of color and light.

Abstract: A device includes a memory and a controller. The controller is configured to read codewords of a data structure from the memory. The codewords include a number of undecodable codewords that are undecodable at an error correction coding (ECC) decoder according to a first correction scheme. The controller includes a stripe generator and a stripe decoder. The stripe generator is configured, in response to the number of undecodable codewords exceeding an erasure correction capacity of a stripe correction scheme, to generate trial data for a stripe of the data structure, the trial data including at least one element that corresponds to erased data and at least another element that is associated with an undecodable codeword and that corresponds to valid data of the stripe. The stripe decoder is configured to initiate a stripe decode operation of the trial data.

Li’nard Jackson is the heart and soul of Li’nards Many Moods Band and is a New York City legend. He is recognized as a genius in the art of dynamic, live performance and as a versatile bass guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer of exceptional artistic standards. You HAVE TO see them live to believe it! He began his music career in Richmond, Virginia at an early age. He sang in his church’s choir, won a statewide musical rhythm competition at age eight and studied the violin and the bass guitar. He is renowned for his command of a wide range of styles from Dance, Hip Hop and R&B, to West African, Rock, Blues and Reggae. An internship at Philly International Record Label with the songwriting team of Roebuck, Jefferson and Simmons led to work on records with Patti LaBelle, The O’Jays and The Jones Girls. He has contributed to over fifty albums and 175 songs.
