Media headlines about MRC stock have trended somewhat positive recently, according to InfoTrie. The research firm identifies negative and positive press coverage by reviewing more than six thousand blog and news sources in real time. The firm ranks coverage of companies on a scale of negative five to five, with scores nearest to five being the most favorable. MRC Global earned a media sentiment score of 1.7 on InfoTrie’s scale. They also gave news headlines about the oil and gas company a news buzz of 1.0 out of 10, indicating that recent press coverage is extremely unlikely to have an impact on the company’s share price in the near term.

"It is concerning that continued emphasis is made on the ‘number of spills’ as opposed to responding to our concerns on the ‘volume of spills’," said J. Terry Ryan, founder of Residents of Centerville Road Group, a coalition of homeowners from 10 subdivisions containing 400-500 homes. 

On October 16, 2015, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will unveil On the Line: Intrepid and the Vietnam War, a major exhibition exploring the events and impact of the Vietnam War through the lens of Intrepid’s history. The exhibition, which coincides with the 40th anniversary of the conclusion of the war, will offer a site-specific immersion into an important chapter of American history.The legendary aircraft carrier Intrepid served three tours of duty in Vietnam between 1966 and 1969. Set within the very spaces where men lived and served, the exhibition will focus on the experiences of Intrepid and its crew "on the line"—the periods when the ship was active in the Gulf of Tonkin, launching aircraft for missions over mainland Vietnam. This localized history will serve as the starting point for understanding the larger historical landscape, including the Cold War, Operation Rolling Thunder and protests at home. The exhibition will include artifacts, photographs and film clips from the Museum’s collection, many of which will be on display for the first time. The exhibition will also draw from the Museum’s Oral History Project, an initiative launched in 2013 to record and preserve the stories of those who served on Intrepid, offering visitors the chance to hear the experiences of veterans in their own words, and to learn history firsthand. The exhibition, which is free with the price of admission, will include education programs for teachers and students, and a series of public programs to generate conversation and artistic expression.

I have hope with Richard Bransons programs, but someone up there said it right, the politicians of our country today no longer strive to encourage Americans in what is possible, but speak to have us cower in fear so that we don’t say anything as they slowly take our country apart piece by piece. It is still my dream to visit the vast blackness of space, and I do believe that we still have it in us to get back with the program and leave earth for the stars. As for the naysayers, they should all just go get punched in the face by Buzz Aldrin since he is more of a man than any of them will ever be, and that would be the greates even to ever happen in their life; the time they were punched in the face by a legend.
