The hydraulic butterfly valve is a valve commonly used to control the flow of fluid media. Its key components include valve body, valve disc, hydraulic control chamber, actuator and hydraulic control components. The following describes the key components of the hydraulic butterfly valve and its working principle.

Valve body
The valve body of the liquid-controlled butterfly valve is generally made of ductile iron or cast steel material, which has good high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and pressure resistance. The internal surface of the valve body is treated with a special coating or enamel to increase its corrosion resistance.

Valve clack
The disc of the hydraulic butterfly valve is usually welded with cast steel or steel plate and filled with sealing materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene or rubber. The shape of the valve disc is generally flat disc shape, which has better flow control performance.

Fluid controlled cavity
The hydraulic control chamber of the hydraulic control butterfly valve is an important part of the hydraulic control component, which is usually made of sealed elastic material. The upper and lower ends of the hydraulic control chamber are respectively connected with the hydraulic pipe and the air pressure pipe, and are relative to the upper and lower surfaces of the valve disc.

Executive mechanism
The actuator of the hydraulic butterfly valve usually uses a combination of hydraulic unit and air pressure unit to control the change of pressure in the hydraulic control chamber, so as to control the opening of the valve disc. The hydraulic unit controls the hydraulic control component by adjusting the flow and pressure of the pressure oil, while the pneumatic unit controls the pressure pipeline by adjusting the flow and pressure of the pressure gas.

Hydraulic control element
The hydraulic control components of the hydraulic butterfly valve include the main control valve and the pressure control valve. The main control valve adjusts the pressure in the hydraulic control chamber by controlling the flow and pressure of hydraulic oil, so as to control the opening of the valve disc. The pressure control valve affects the pressure change in the liquid control chamber by controlling the pressure in the air pressure pipeline, thus affecting the pressure change in the liquid control chamber.

The working principle of the hydraulic butterfly valve is to control the opening of the valve core by using the force of hydraulic pressure and air pressure, so as to control the flow of the medium. When it is necessary to control the change of medium flow, the hydraulic unit changes the opening of the valve disc by adjusting the pressure in the hydraulic control chamber. The air pressure unit affects the pressure change in the hydraulic control chamber by adjusting the pressure in the air pressure pipeline, thus changing the opening of the valve disc.

In short, the hydraulic butterfly valve is a control method based on hydraulic and air pressure, and the flow control of the medium is achieved through the cooperative work between the components.
