Common metal materials
WCB/A105 Carbon steel
Commonly used valve body and internal materials. It is usually used for air, hydrocarbons, non-corrosive liquids and gases, saturated steam and superheated steam in the temperature range of -29℃ to 426℃.
Cast steel corresponding standard number: ASTMA216WCB/DIN17245 — 1.0619/AFNORA48C — M/BS1504-16/JISSCPH2.
Common trade name: GS-C25N/WCB. Forged steel corresponding standard number: ASTMA105.
Common trade names: GS-C25N, WCB (cadt) /A105(forge)
LCB Low temperature carbon steel
This material is mainly used for air, hydrocarbons, non-corrosive liquids and gases, saturated steam and superheated steam in the temperature range of -45℃ to 345℃.
The corresponding standard number of cast steel is ASTMA352gr.LCB/DIN17245-1.1138/AFNORFB-M/BS1504-161/JISSCPL1.
Common trade name: GS-CK24, LCB
WC6 high temperature carbon steel
This material is suitable for high temperature conditions because of its good creep resistance. From the point of view of corrosion protection, suitable for the temperature range between -28℃ to 593℃ hydrocarbons, liquids and gases, non-corrosive vaporizer, saturated steam and superheated steam. WC6 is more difficult to cast than WCB, and it is also more difficult to weld.
Cast steel corresponding standard number: ASTMA217WC6/DIN17245 — 1.7357/AFNOR15CD505 — M/BS1504-621/JISSCPH21.
Common trade name: GS17CrMo55, WC6.
WC9 high-temperature carbon steel
WC9 and WC6 belong to the same material, suitable for the same medium WC6, but the temperature range is higher, -28℃ to 595℃. Welding or welding repair is very difficult.
Cast steel corresponding standard number: ASTMA217WC9/DIN17245 — 1.7357/AFNOR15CD505 — M/BS1504-621/JISSCPH21.
Common trade name: WC9
316/CF8M stainless steel
316 stainless steel is often used for corrosive media, such as organic or inorganic acids, but not for hydrochloric, sulfuric and phosphoric acid. Its corrosion resistance is better than 304. Due to the presence of molybdenum, the creep resistance at high temperature is improved. Typical temperatures range from -253℃ to 815℃.
Cast steel corresponding standard number: ASTMA351CF8M/AISI316 / DIN17445-1.4408 / AFNORZ6CND18 c15 / JISSCS14A. 10.3 M/BS1505-316

G-X6CrNiMo1810(cast)/X5CrNiMo1810(forge)
316L/CF3M Stainless Steel
316L stainless steel is the low-carbon type of 316, with improved welding performance and higher corrosion resistance than 316 at high temperature. The application condition is similar to that of 316, with a relatively high temperature of 455℃.
Cast steel corresponding standard number: ASTMA351CF3M/AISI316L/DIN17440-1.4404 / AFNORZ2CND18 c12 / JISSCS16A. 12.3 M/BS1504-316
Common trade name: 316L
