The 2018 RM-Z450 debuted the third-generation traction management system for the first time, with a significantly updated S-HAC (Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control) and a more powerful ECM (Engine Control Module). Starting in 2019, Suzuki’s RM-Z250 goes one step further, and the fourth-generation system has updated ECU software.
The S-HAC of the RM-Z250 can monitor the throttle position and gear to adjust the ignition timing to obtain the maximum acceleration during the three key stages of the off-road motorcycle start: accurate launch time, over the starting point, and then start straight. The RM-Z250 is already known as one of the best turning off-road motorcycles, but we continue to work hard to improve it.
