In addition to the corrosion resistant lining valve, the general soft seal valve refers to the spool or seat of one of the two non-metallic materials (mainly PTFE, rubber, etc.) sealed form of the valve. The sealing effect of soft seal valve is better, but in the pipeline installation, system cleaning may leave more or less unclean debris (such as welding slag, iron filings, etc.), they flow through the regulating valve, easy to scratch the soft seal seat or spool, so that the leakage amount increases, the reliability of the seal is poor. Therefore, the choice of soft seal structure must consider the medium cleaning and strict flushing pipeline before operation.

(1) Soft seal

(2) Hard seal
Hard seal and surfacing of wear-resistant alloy is a better choice for cutting off valves. This way in consideration of sealing and also consider the service life and reliability, although the factory index is only 10-6 ~ 10-8, can not achieve the effect of soft seal zero leakage, but enough to meet the requirements of tight cut, and it is durable, from the economic point of view is more cost-effective.
