Winel BV is proud to announce the addition of a “CMO” aluminum overflow tank exhaust check valve to its product line, which is suitable for direct discharge outside the ship.
Winel’s latest development is made of ALMG4.5 aluminum alloy that is resistant to seawater. This latest valve is available in sizes from DN40 to DN400, featuring high flow and a lightweight but extremely robust slender design.
The new CMO complements the “standard” CM aluminum tank ventilation check valve introduced by Winel in the fall of 2016. Standard CM is discharged on deck. If it is not possible to discharge on deck, the new CMO tank ventilation check valve can be simply installed in the piping system, allowing direct discharge to the outside of the ship.
Winel has produced tank ventilation check valves for more than 50 years, and all major classification societies have obtained type certification for the full range of tank ventilation check valves. The new CMO has been tested and certified in accordance with the relevant requirements of the EU’s Type Approval Mutual Recognition Program.
